We are delivering a practical packaging solution to replace single-use plastic. Current can holders are made from first use or recycled plastic. Since end consumers often take these packs with them to the place of consumption (beaches, parks, trails, etc), they most often end up littering public spaces, rivers, oceans and lakes. Consumer education and awareness campaigns on a responsible disposal of garbage, have not been able to solve the problem on a relevant scale, and thus, we believe that biodegradable and compostable packaging solutions will effectively contribute to eliminate the vast volume of long term, almost non-degradable, degradable waste and pollution. Additionally, these solutions may reinforce consumer awareness, and help avoid littering in the first place. Our E6PR, or Eco Six Pack Ring, is made of natural fibers, making it a 100% biodegradable and compostable alternative to the current plastic solutions. Our product currently handles six cans, similarly to its plastic counterparts, without the environmental hazards. Our long-term intention is to deliver a variety of innovative biodegradable and compostable products to replace single-use packaging plastic.
