WILLIAM AMOR Artist, ennobler of disregarded materials. William Amor, based in Paris, is french artist and the creator of artifcial flowers, floral ornaments by the ennoblement of devalued materials. As a self-taught and multidisciplinary creator, he specializes in the valorization of abandoned materials to make it a new art profession. In 2015, at COP21, he unveiled his artistic signature by transforming the materials responsible of plastic pollution (plastic bags and bottles, abandoned fshing nets and ropes) into precious and delicate foral work called ‘Les créations messagères’. His approach and his work took the current trend of «Upcycling» a step further, considering waste as a creative raw material and treating it as a «noble» material used in luxury. After years of research and experimentation, William Amor comes up with a unique approach and invents his own techniques to shape his meaningful foral creations with precision and meticulousness. From his philosophy of wanting to break with value judgments, Willam Amor adds a human and therapeutic dimension to his artistic approach in the creation of his creative workshop.. Since January 2018, the artist has surrounded himself for his productions by disabled people «Les petites mains d’or» to whom he transmits his skills, in collaboration with ESAT, ‘les Ateliers du moulin’ of Sillery’s Franco-British Fondation.
