2019 Edition

We propose a small mobile recycling plant, which can be moved and assembled in different spaces such as festivals or other events. This space can manage the recycling of PP, HDPE and LDPE mainly. People around is invited to participate in the whole recycling process : Selection, washing, crushing, melting and molding. The small plant has a specific machine for each phase of the recycling chain (4 machines in total, which we already have got the plans and some are already built up as shown in attached photos). Machines and other sections are placed inside a dome (geodesic structure as it appears in the photos), this structure is removable and portable. In addition, besides being an artistic and fun space, accessible to all audiences, the space itself will be designed with pieces of recycled plastic, such as the joints for the construction of the dome, and other elements that appear on the plane attached. One of the machines, the crusher, we have transformed it into bicimáquina, which makes it independent of electricity, making the project more sustainable.
