We long for a democratic process to transform plastic into new pieces and solutions. We are developing a domestic product to be produced in a industrial scale and sold in big stores as any other household appliance. The equipment is mobile and can be used in any place with free movements, it’s fed by electric energy and it accepts, as its raw material, various classifications of recycled plastic (crushed). In a first version, we’ve started with a simple extrusion mechanical structure using a drilling machine, a drill and a electrical resistance. But in the second version, we develop a arduino complex and a stepper motor, reaching higher control in the fusion process, in this version, functional prototypes were executed with recycled material, were produced chairs, bowls and small tables. Based on the results of previous experiments, we project a final version, being accessible to the public in general, capable of controlling temperature and speed in a touch panel and with various types of extrusion tips.
