Thanks to a process patented by (re-cig) it is possible to transform the cigarette butt into a hygroscopic polymer. This plastic polymer is suitable for various production processes such as injection molding, extrusion, hotbed printing and 3D printing. I decided to design a portable ashtray because I think it’s the ideal object for the type of material chosen and to close the circle referring to the waste of cigarette butts.
